Thomas Michaelis is managing shareholder of Alameda Consulting GmbH and runs the Alameda Global Consulting Group.

Thomas completed his first study in Economics, Business Administration and Political Science at the University of Cologne in Germany as one of the best in class with a degree on Master level. He earned a scholarship from the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation. He also holds a Master of Laws (Mergers & Acquisitions) from the University in Muenster in West Germany and an MBA with honors from the Joint Global Executive Program of Columbia University and London Business School. Due to his academic achievements, he was placed on the Dean's Honor List of the Columbia Business School.

Thomas has proven business management leadership skills gained over 29 years working for globally operating companies. He was Senior Consultant and Manager with Arthur Andersen, Director Finance and Administration of an automotive component supplier group (ISRINGHAUSEN), and Director/Managing Director of consulting companies of the DTZ group.

As a management consultant, his clients included Goldman Sachs, manufacturing companies, airports, a harbor, real estate companies, health care businesses (hospital, pharmacies), service companies, e-commerce companies, a retail company, state governments and local authorities. His areas of expertise include Strategy, Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, and process improvement. He has experience as project manager and interim-manager.
